Zittme has mobile identity verification built in as a member feature. You can use it to confirm real names at sign-up, find accounts through identity verification, and confirm age for adult content. It is off by default.

What you need

Identity verification requires a contract with a verification provider. The currently built-in driver is Danal.

• Sign a mobile identity verification contract with Danal and obtain your merchant information (CPID and so on).
• During the contract you register your service domain and a callback URL. The callback URL is:

How to turn it on

1. Go to Admin > Members > Identity verification settings.
2. Turn on identity verification, then enter the driver (Danal) and the merchant information you received.
3. Choose where to use it:
• Identity verification at sign-up: A verification step is added before the sign-up process
• Account recovery: Members can find their user ID and password through identity verification
• Adult verification: A verification gate is added in front of boards that require adult verification

Automatic group assignment by age

You can automatically assign members to specific groups based on the date of birth confirmed by verification.

1. In the Age-based groups item of the identity verification settings, turn on a minimum age for each group. (Example: Adult group = age 19 and over)
2. When a member completes verification, they automatically join the groups whose criteria they meet. Members are only added, never removed automatically.

To create an adult board: create an adult group, turn on its age criterion, then restrict read access to that group in the board permissions.

Good to know

• Verification results (name, date of birth, duplicate check information) are stored securely in the member's information and used for duplicate checks that stop one person from creating multiple accounts. However, the duplicate check does not apply when finding an account through identity verification.
• With shared PCs in mind, the verification state is kept only during that process and is discarded when the member logs out.
• Other verification providers (such as KG Inicis) are designed to be supported by adding drivers.

Common problems

• "Invalid value" error in the verification window: Check that the values you entered match the merchant information and domain registered with Danal.
• Does not return after verification: Check that the callback URL is exactly the same as the value registered in your contract.
• Adult gate appears even for verified members: Check that the member is in the adult group and that the age-based group setting is turned on.
