05Opening steps

When the install wizard finishes, your boards are already there.

STEP 1Install

Upload the engine and follow the wizard. An admin account and default boards are created.

STEP 2Themes and boards

Apply a theme from Resources, create as many boards as you want and add them to the menu. Pick a look for each board.

STEP 3Member policy

Set sign-up fields, tiers, permissions, identity verification and social login, then open the doors. Rhymix · XE sites move over with the migration tool.

What changes when I move from Rhymix?
Boards, members and attachments move as they are. What changes is that you install modules and themes from Resources and update the core from the admin screen. Most Rhymix modules and skins run as is.
Do I have to reset each board skin when I change themes?
No. A theme bundles the layout with board, member, message and notification skins and applies them at once.
Do I have to buy identity verification or social login separately?
They are in the core. Identity verification needs a contract with a verification provider, and social login needs keys issued by each service.
Can I add a shop or bookings to a community?
Yes. Install the Commerce or Bookings module on the same site and they share members and points.
