Knowledge Q&A module
Knowledge Q&A is a Naver KnowledgeiN-style Q&A module where members post questions, receive answers, and select one as accepted. Askers can put a bounty (points) on a question, and the accepted answerer receives that bounty plus an acceptance reward. Both questions and answers are documents, so the editor, attachments, and votes work as usual, and you can add comments to each question and answer.
Knowledge Q&A is in beta. Features and data structures may change, so we recommend trying it in a test environment before using it on a live service.
Installation
- Install the Knowledge Q&A module from the Store.
- In the sitemap (Admin > Site menu), add a menu, choose Knowledge Q&A under Connect module, and create the page.
- In the permissions tab of the new page, set the groups that can post questions, post answers, and write comments. By default, anyone can view the list and read posts.
- A member posts a question with Ask a question. A bounty can be set at this point.
- Other members post answers with Answer. You cannot answer your own question, and each person can answer a question only once.
- The asker accepts the answer they like. Acceptance cannot be undone, and the bounty plus the acceptance reward are paid to the answerer. A question with an accepted answer cannot receive new answers.
- Each question and answer can have comments. Comments are collapsed by default and expand with "Show comments".
- In badge and grid modes, subcategories expand when you hover over the top-level category; in sidebar mode they are always visible as indented items.
- Selecting a top-level category in the list also shows questions in its subcategories.
- Questions in a deleted category become uncategorized.
- View counts follow the core document rules. With the default setting (once), views by the author and repeat visits in the same session are not counted.
- Accepted answers cannot be deleted (admins are the exception, in which case the question goes back to unaccepted).
- Deleting a question also deletes its answers.
- Answers do not appear in the list; opening an answer's address opens the question it belongs to.
- 12 languages are supported (Korean, English, Japanese, Simplified/Traditional Chinese, Vietnamese, Mongolian, Russian, Spanish, French, German, and Turkish), and the default skin follows the site's dark theme.
Basic flow
Bounty (points) rules
Bounties use the core point module as is.
| When | What happens |
|---|---|
| Question posted | The bounty amount is deducted. It cannot exceed your balance or the configured range |
| Answer accepted | The bounty + acceptance reward are paid to the answerer |
| Question deleted before acceptance | The bounty is returned to the asker |
| Question deleted after acceptance | Points already paid are not taken back |
If you disable the point module, bounty setting, payouts, refunds, and related screens all disappear, leaving only acceptance. A bounty cannot be changed on the question edit screen.
Admin settings
Admin > Knowledge Q&A > Basic settings.
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Bounty range | Minimum and maximum bounty that can be set on a question |

| Acceptance reminder period | Shown on the question page as a deadline encouraging acceptance. 0 hides it |

생활Profiles and activity history
The asker and answerer spots on a question page show a profile card (profile image, nickname, answer count, accepted count, and acceptance rate). Clicking the card opens that member's activity history page, where the questions and answers they posted are shown in separate tabs.
