Reservation module
The Reservation module lets customers pick a date and time on your site to book, and pay through zittme Pay if needed. It covers places where several people join a fixed timetable, like experiences and classes, and places where a customer picks a staff member who blocks out time for the service, like hair salons and clinics. Coupons, points, loyalty tiers, staff settlement, and email and text notifications are included.
Installation and default address
- Install the Reservation module from the Store.
- Installing it automatically creates one reservation page. Its address is
your-site/reservation. If that name is already taken, it is created under a different name with a number appended. - It is not added to the site menu automatically. Go to Admin > Site menu, add a menu item, and link it to the address above.
- To take paid reservations, the zittme Pay module must also be installed. Without it, the payment section of the settings page shows "zittme Pay is not installed, so paid reservations cannot be accepted."
- Admin > Reservation has an "Open console in new tab" button, and the first time you visit, the console opens in a new tab automatically.
- Only super administrators can open the console.
- Left menu: Dashboard · Reservations · Reservation products · Staff · Schedule · Settlement · Regulars · Extra questions · Statistics · Settings
- Use the "View site" and "zittme admin" links at the bottom left to go back.
- Available times are shown in 10-minute intervals (default).
- By default, customers may book with "Anyone" instead of choosing a staff member.
- If branches are linked, the customer picks a branch first and only staff at that branch are shown.
- Enter the days of the week (multiple allowed), start · end times, slot interval, and capacity per slot, then click "Add rule."
- The slot interval is how often a new slot starts. With 09:00–18:00 and a 60-minute interval, slots are created at 09:00, 10:00, 11:00, and so on. If left blank, it equals the duration.
- If capacity per slot is left blank, the default capacity is used.
- The timetable is generated 90 days ahead from today (Settings > Slot generation range, 7–366 days).
- Days off for this product only: enter them under "Closures·special openings" at the bottom of the product edit page.
- All products (holidays, etc.): enter them in Console > Schedule > Site-wide closures·special openings.
- There are two types: closure / special opening. If start · end times are blank, it applies to the whole day.
- To block only certain slots, go to Schedule > Manually close specific time slots, choose the product and period, click "Search," then "Close." Clicking again is "Reopen."
- Individual staff days off are entered in Schedule by selecting the staff member.
- Reservations that need payment go into Awaiting payment status as soon as they are submitted, and the spot is held in the meantime.
- The hold time is Settings > Payment > Payment hold time and defaults to 10 minutes (3–120 minutes).
- If payment completes in time, the reservation is automatically Confirmed.
- When the time runs out, it changes to Expired and the spot is released. An expiry means the customer abandoned payment, so no cancellation notification is sent.
- If payment arrives late after expiry, it is refunded automatically. The action is recorded in the reservation history.
- The number of days left until the service start time is counted (partial days are dropped), and the percentage of the largest line whose day count is met is used. In the example above, 3 or more days left means 100%, 1–2 days means 50%, and less than a day means no refund.
- The percentage is applied to the amount actually paid (the payment balance remaining in zittme Pay). For products that took only a deposit, it is based on the deposit.
- If no line matches, no refund is given. The percentage cannot exceed 100.
- Customers can cancel themselves only before the product's cancellation deadline (hours before). After that, "The cancellation period has passed" is shown.
- If the refund fails, the customer's cancellation does not go through either.
- Points are earned at the base earning rate (%), only on reservations marked Completed. If the tier has its own earning rate, that takes priority.
- You can set a minimum amount per use and a maximum usage rate (%) per use. 0 means no limit.
- In Console > Regulars > Manual issuance, you can increase (positive) or decrease (negative) points by member ID (or member number).
- Set a fixed amount (KRW) or percentage (%), maximum discount, minimum service amount, applicable services (all or one product), period, uses per person, and total limit.
- Coupons with a code are used by customers entering the code on the booking form. Without a code, they are issued only manually by an admin or on reaching a tier.
- Tiers are based on the total actually paid on Completed reservations. The band with the highest qualifying cumulative amount applies.
- Each tier can have an earning rate, a service discount (percentage/fixed), and a reward coupon.
- Enter name, title, default share (%), display order, status (shown/hidden), photo URL, branch, and bio.
- Services handled: only checked services can be booked with this staff member. If per-staff price · duration · share are blank, the service defaults are used.
- Working days: bookings are accepted only during the hours of checked days.
- If you enter a linked member ID, that staff member can log in and see only their own schedule and settlement records.
- If you delete a staff member who has reservations, they are not deleted but hidden.
- Choose a staff member and period (start date · end date) and click "Create" to make a round in Tallying status.
- Only Completed reservations are tallied. Cancellations and no-shows are excluded from revenue.
- The amount and share at the time of booking are used as is. Changing the share later does not affect past reservations.
- Each round shows revenue · staff share · store share.
- Clicking "Confirm" locks the amounts; after paying, click "Mark as paid." Rounds still tallying can be deleted, and deleting one returns its reservations to the pool for settlement.
- Sent once for confirmed reservations that fall within 24 hours (default) of the start time.
- If the site's scheduled task (queue) feature is on, it is checked automatically every 5 minutes.
- If the queue is off, it is checked when someone opens a reservation page (list · calendar · booking form · my reservations) (at most once every 5 minutes). On low-traffic sites, reminders may be late, so we recommend turning the queue on.
- Settings > Basic > Guest reservations is "Allowed" by default. Changing it to "Members only" requires login to book.
- Guests set a lookup password (4 or more characters) when booking.
- Later, entering the reservation number + password lets them view and cancel the reservation.
- Once verified, the password is not asked again in the same browser for 2 hours. After closing the browser or after 2 hours, it must be entered again.
- The password is never included in the address (URL) and is stored encrypted.
- Member reservations can be viewed only by the member.
- If you edit the privacy consent text, also bump the text version.
- In Skin settings at the bottom of the settings page, choose the reservation page skin and PC · mobile layouts. Leaving it at "Follow default design" uses the skin from the site's design settings (including the theme).
- Types: single line · multi-line · choice · checkbox · phone number
- Set required/optional, scope (all products or one product), and order. For choice questions, write one option per line.
Each site runs only one reservation page. By default, guests (non-members) are allowed to make reservations.

Two booking methods
Each reservation product has an allocation method.
| Method | Suited for | How it works |
|---|---|---|
| Capacity slots (default) | Experiences, one-day classes, space rentals | A timetable (time slots) is generated in advance from operating-hour rules, and each slot accepts bookings up to its capacity |
| Staff assignment | Hair salons, nail salons, clinics | Calculates the staff member's free time and blocks out the length of the service. Each service can take a different amount of time |
With staff assignment,
Registering reservation products
Create a new reservation product in Console > Reservation products.
| Field | Description | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Main image | Square recommended, 10MB or less. Non-square images are cropped around the center | |
| Name · summary | Name and one-line description shown in the list | |
| Default capacity | Number of people per slot. 1 means one-on-one | 1 |
| Duration (min) | Time one session takes | 60 |
| Price | 0 means free | 0 |
| Payment required | Whether to take payment through zittme Pay | No |
| Prep time · cleanup time (min) | Time to keep free before and after | 0 |
| Book up to N days ahead | How many days from today to accept bookings | 90 |
| Book until N minutes before | How many minutes before the start to stop bookings | 60 |
| Cancellation deadline (hours before) | Last point at which customers can cancel themselves | 24 |
| Status | Public / private | Public |
If you delete a product that has reservation history, it is not deleted but switched to private.
Registering operating hours (capacity slots)
After you save a reservation product, an Operating hours section appears lower on the same page. If there are no operating rules at all, no timetable is generated and the customer page shows no times.
Closures · special openings
Payment (zittme Pay integration)
Paid reservations are paid through zittme Pay. There are three payment methods.
| Payment method | Amount the customer pays in advance |
|---|---|
| No payment | None. The price is shown for information only |
| Deposit only | The set deposit. The rest is collected at the visit (if the deposit exceeds the service price, only up to the service price) |
| Full prepayment | The full service price |
The reservation product edit page currently shows only "Payment required (Yes/No)" and has no fields for choosing the deposit method or the allocation method (capacity/staff). Products saved from this page are stored as no payment · capacity slots, so for paid products, always check after saving that the payment amount appears on the customer page.
Payment hold time
Cancellation and refund policy
In Settings > Payment > Refund policy, write one days:percent entry per line. The defaults are:
3:100
1:50
0:0When an admin clicks "Cancel" in Console > Reservations, a full refund is attempted regardless of the cancellation deadline, and then the reservation is canceled. Even if the refund fails, the cancellation proceeds and the failure is recorded, so in that case refund separately in zittme Pay.
Reservation statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Awaiting payment | Payment in progress. The spot is held |
| Awaiting deposit | Waiting for a bank transfer. The spot is kept |
| Confirmed | Confirmed. Free reservations go straight to this status |
| Canceled | Canceled by the customer or an admin |
| No-show | Did not show up. The spot is treated as used, so coupons · points are not returned |
| Completed | Visit completed. Points are earned and the tier is recalculated at this point |
| Expired | The payment hold time passed |
Coupons · points · loyalty tiers
You must first turn these on in Settings > Points and coupons (both are off by default).
Points

Loyalty tiers
On cancellation, used coupons and points are returned; on no-show, they are not.

Notifications
There are four notifications—reservation received · reservation confirmed · reservation canceled · visit reminder—and all are on by default.
| Channel | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|
| On | Sent only if the booker entered an email address | |
| Text (SMS) | Off | Uses the site's SMS settings. Unless a sender number is set separately, the site's default sender number is used |
| KakaoTalk AlimTalk | Off | Sent as text messages until an AlimTalk sender is connected |
Visit reminder
Currently, the only notification options you can change on the settings page are "Email admin on new reservation" and its address. Channel selection (email/text/AlimTalk), turning each notification type on or off, how many hours before a visit, SMS sender number, staff time interval, and allowing reservations without a staff member all run on the defaults above.
Guest reservations and reservation lookup
Reservation numbers look like R20260928-ABC123: prefix + date + 6 alphanumeric characters. The prefix can be changed in settings (default R, up to 5 characters).
Settings
| Section | Setting | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Basic | Enable/disable reservations | Enabled |

Extra questions
In Console > Extra questions, create questions to ask beyond name · phone · email.
Taking phone reservations
In Console > Reservations > Manual reservation, choose a product and time slot (remaining spots shown), enter name · phone · party size, and it goes straight into Confirmed status. Capacity checks apply just the same when an admin enters it.
